GOWO Affordable Care, LLC provides exceptional services to ensure that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are served with quality personal care that will assist them in reaching and maintaining maximum levels of independence. We know that each of our clients has different sets of needs, and thus we individualize our services based on the types and levels of assistance we require. Our goal is to ensure that our services support their potential and promote their growth and development as individuals. We want to be instrumental so they can achieve independence and become functional members of their communities.

We provide the following services:

Supported Employment
Individuals dealing with intellectual and developmental health disorders can have the chance to land and retain employment. They just need to determine their potential and hone their skills. And we are ready to assist with that. At GOWO AFFORDABLE CARE LLC, we guide our clients in learning valuable life and employment skills and help them find companies they can work for. We even assist them with creating a resume and complying with the various documents required for employees.
Individual Transportation
Transportation can be a challenge for individuals with intellectual and developmental health disorders. We want to make sure that they have access to it every time they need to go to and from somewhere. We have vehicles that are appropriately equipped based on their needs that ensure their comfort and safety on the road. Our staff may also accompany our clients as they travel to their destinations.
Personal Assistance

The ability to manage one’s personal care can vary for each individual. That’s why we have staff members that are trained in addressing various personal care activities while respecting clients’ ability to do tasks they can perform on their own. With proper personal care, they can maintain proper hygiene and a clean and tidy living environment. Our personal care assistants may also assist with other tasks, including running errands, paying bills, managing finances or correspondence, and more.

Our well-trained staff will create opportunities of learning while providing direct assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, eating, meal preparation, household chores, budget management, medication administration and attending appointments. GOWO provides this service in the home or in the community closely following the plan of care/ISP.

Respite Care
Respite care is provided for individuals that temporarily need to relocate from their place of origin due to a heightened need for behavioral support and medical needs. They will be placed in a facility outside the home for a short period of time. This gives family members temporary relief from their care responsibilities. The short break will allow them to tend to other tasks and errands or a time to relax and spend some time alone or with friends and other members of the family.
Community-Based and In-Home Day Service
Our services are available wherever and whenever it is needed. Thanks to the personalized care plan we implement for our clients, our professionals offer services that are suitable for our clients. With them around, families can have a partner in managing their loved ones’ needs and have expert assistance at hand whenever it is needed. Each of our professionals shares our passion for service, and it translates to quality, compassionate service.
Family Model Residential Service
Many of our clients need a warm and friendly place to stay, a place they can consider home-where people welcome them like family. Living with these families allows them to interact with individuals that offer genuine care and compassion. Our clients will be treated like the family’s own and they get to participate in activities and family functions. Clients’ progress will be monitored by our program manager.
Supported Living
Supported Living is a residential program wherein our clients live alone or with one or two other individuals. In this living condition, they’ll have some of our staff members ready to support them whenever assistance is needed. With Supported Living, clients can have more freedom in making choices about their home and community life. Our staff monitors their progress, but they will be allowed to perform certain daily living tasks they can do on their own and make decisions about what they want to do throughout the day.
Semi-Supported Living
Semi-Supported Living is another living option that enables individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to live independently with other residents. With this, they will be guided in learning community living skills by receiving individualized support from our staff. This way, they’ll be guided in determining and improving their potential for a quality life.
